LCN EARTH vs Romeo Middle School - Meet Results
The LCN EARTH swim team had their first meet of the season this year against Romeo Middle School. The 7th & 8th grade were victorious, winning the meet by a score of 87 – 64. The 6th graders followed suit by winning their portion by a score of 43 – 35. This was a great achievement for the team considering it was the first meet of the season.
Leading the victory, the following swimmers took first place in the following events: for the 6th graders: Laney K. – 100 IM (lifetime best time), Sofia S. – 50 Back (lifetime best time) & Maggie M. – 50 Breast (lifetime best time), for the 7th & 8th graders: Gavin D. – 100 Free, Addison T. – 100 IM & 50 Fly, and Maddie C. – 50 Breast.
The following swimmers attained their best times in the following events: 100 Free – Caden W., Dustin B., Amar T. & Ava S., 100 IM – Maddie E., 50 Free – Davin L., Dustin B., Lily F., Zoey R., Natalie D., George D., Anna D., Maegen D., Maggie M., Sofia S., Lily S., & Sophia S., 50 Fly – Morgann L., 200 Free – Maddie C. & Davin L., 50 Back – Natalie D., Maddie E., Damien S., Ava S., Lily F., Lily S., & Sophia S., 50 Breast – Laney K., Caden W., Zoey R., George D. & Amar T.
The teams next meet is against Chippewa Valley next Thursday. Please remember to visit the event page to select your swimmers’ potential events and volunteer to help conduct a successful swim meet.
Also, please remember to send the $80 payment to Coach Mike. The website does not accept credit cards, so either pay cash or a check made out to LCN SWIM TEAM. Also, I need to have a current physical on file per MHSAA rules. Please also submit these to Coach Mike ASAP!
